I would appreciate if someone help me to understand this situation. I do not know why but when i edit selected List View item (containing few Text Boxes) and then press Update button in the Item Updating event i always get old values instead of those which were typed recently. Also, can you be more informative about your viewstate issue when reloading the lis?

the Edit Template contains a few checkboxes, a dropdown and textbox. If you are not using a datasource that supports this you can do one other thing.

I need to access these values so I can update the record. I think I'm overlooking something crucial here, any help would be handy. Notice how the update button has a command called "Update".

Map Path("~/images/kurum/") Dim f Name As String = fu.

File Name Dim Full Pathed File As String = My Path & f Name Try If fu. Old Values("Kurum Logo Path") Dim new Name As String = e.

This allows you to provide an event-handling method that performs a custom routine, such as checking the results of an update operation, whenever this event occurs.

A Form View Updated Event Args object is passed to the event-handling method, which allows you to determine the number of records affected and any exceptions that might have occurred. Old Values("Kurum Logo Path") End If Catch ex As Exception Response. I have googled, binged, yahooed, trialed & errored with no success. I have checked permissions for the folder and Application, they are OK. Cancel = True End Try End Sub as a result deletes nothing.event when an Update button (a button with its Command Name property set to "Update") within the control is clicked, but after the Form View control updates the record. This allows you to provide an event handler that performs a custom routine, such as canceling the update operation, whenever this event occurs.
